KeyStone was an excellent quality awards scheme for the people who managed village halls and community buildings, but unfortunately it ceased to operate several years ago due to funding cuts.
It was designed to give information and support, and provide encouragement, to help make sense of regulations and legislation, put systems in place to keep things running smoothly, and concentrate on providing the best facilities.
Several halls in Berwickshire were involved in the scheme when it was in operation. Those who were can still have their annual status verified by Bavs.
The old Keystone leaflet is available here for interest.
